Dillo Day etc.

1. Dillo Day/weekend was general good times. Met lots of new people/hung out with people I usually don't, and I got some free stuff. Wasn't wasted, which is good. Saw Ambulance LTD (really good live), the Black Keys (also good), and George Clinton (same song for 2.5 hours, or at least it felt like it). Also watched "The Wizard of Oz" with Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" playing in the background on Friday (big scheduled event on campus), so can cross that off my life to do list. Sat through about half of my first real porn movie (it was a scheduled campus-wide event; my friends and I thought after a day of debauchery it would be funny), "Edward Penishands." Ended up being very very gross (many, many, many close-ups of genitals) and not very funny (which might have been due to the lack of sound - so no fun porn music/dialogue). Only sat through half of it. I liked watching "Anastasia" with Gabe at midnight on Friday much better. But all in all, a good weekend - and it was good for me, which might be more important.

2. School is ending and I am getting sad. I guess you don't realize how much you like people until they start leaving. And I'm definitely not looking forward to packing.

3. Am watching "High Fidelity" and, not only do I recognize many of the locations, John Cusack rides the Purple Line Express (aka my mass transit love) in it. And that just makes me happy.

Not a very thoughtful post after a weekend of "debauchery," but eh. Time to settle in and work for 11 days before I get to be home and see my favorite people again.
