List

1. Did anyone else know this movie existed? Am curious about it now...seeing as it's probably the only movie ever made about Catonsville, not to mention the fact that Gregory Peck produced it. And apparently it was a play, too. That we have at my library, actually. What the heck?

2. I have cut off a lot of my hair. It is very exciting.

3. Saw "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" with Dave, Dan and two guys I'd never met before - Jeff and Grant maybe? I've never read the book, but I have the feeling it suffered from a "Lemony Snicket"-esque lack of sarcasm. Alan Rickman and Bill Nighy were awesome, though. As always.

4. Rented "It Happened One Night" from the Evanston library. Was generally funny - kind of like a happier, meaner version of "Roman Holiday" I guess? - although "love" at the end was kind of random. But it seems like that's just a symptom of the romantic comedy, or at least of early romantic comedies (and if you're calling "Roman Holiday" a romantic comedy...but, it makes me cry a lot, so I don't know if I would). Lots of build up, then a random "oh wait, I do love you, let's make out." Next week? "Bringing Up Baby" perhaps? We'll see. Because seriously - old movies are a drug.

5. I survived my last midterm week of the year. YES. Now all I have are four more weeks of class, reading week, and finals week. Yeah...still a lot, in other words. But oh well. It just might be fun. Sarah's visitng, and there's Dillo Day. And lots of crazy misadventures to be had, I'm sure.

6. IT'S MAY. Which means I got to change my Lemony Snicket calendar. And it was wondrous.
